We now have all the monies in following the unfortunate injury to young Wayne Mcintosh who was hurt whilst playing for the Burnley Supporters Football team against AFC Halifax. I am very pleased to announce that the final total raised was a magnificent :

£1,001.00

Everyone one at AFC Halifax would like to thank each individual Halifax Town Fan who donated to the bucket collection held at the home game against Weymouth which raised a tremendous £636.00. Grateful thanks too must go to The Halifax Town Supporters Trust, The Shaymen Down South , AFC Halifax, the players, management and staff of Halifax Town AFC and the Huddersfield Town Terriers.net Supporters team for their generous contributions which brought the total up to £851.00 which we all agreed was a magnificent amount, however a further donation of £150.00 was pledged by a life time Town supporter who wishes to remain anonymous to take the total to over the one thousand pound mark. A huge thank you to the individual concerned and indeed to each and every person who contributed.

We will get the cheque off to Wayne as soon as possible but we are looking at the idea of a few representatives from AFC Halifax perhaps travelling across to a midweek Burnley home game to present the cheque on the pitch at half time, further details to follow shortly.

Chadders.
