Aldershot Town have drawn 3-3 with Rushden & Diamonds after extra time in the Setanta Shield final tonight to send the match to penalties.

Junior Mendes, Scott Donnelly and Kirk Hudson were all on target for the Shots while Andy Burgess got two goals for Rushden, despite missing a penalty and Michael Rankine grabbed an injury time equaliser to force the penalty shootout.

However the league leaders held their nerves in the shoot out to win 4-3.

There has been one game in the Blue Square Premier with Exeter City entertaining bottom of the league Droylsden at St James Park.

Droylsden took the lead on 49 minutes through Robert Talbot's first goal of the season but the Grecians equalised from the penalty spot on 76 minutes with Richard Logan's third goal in five games. See the updated league table
