Former Halifax Town goalkeeper Jon Kennedy has been picked to play for an FA XI vs Sheffield FC on 23rd October at the Rose & Crown Ground, Dronfield.

The team, picked by England National XI boss Paul Fairclough, all come from the Unibond League.

The squad is Jon Kennedy, Rob Lloyd, Mark Peers, Adam Warlow, Piotr Skiba, Richard Dunning, Simon Sturdy, James Hanson, Mark Smith, Cieran Donnelly, Anton Foster, Jordan Hall, James Curtis James Lukic, Simon Barraclough.

On stand-by are Danny Hurst, Nathan Pond, Liam Brownhill, Cavel Coo, Darren Brookfield, Jamie McClen, Steve Salvin and David Southern.

Meanwhile former Halifax Town midfielder Jamie Paterson has joined Southern League Premier Division club Corby Town.
