Former Halifax Town defender Derek Goulding has been appointed the first manager of AFC Liverpool.

Goulding said: "I am delighted to be the first ever manager of AFC Liverpool. I am an ambitious manager and this is a club with enormous potential. I have been a Liverpool fan all of my life, and I can't wait to build this team. I have always been successful as a player and as a manager, and I'm looking forward to bringing that approach to AFC Liverpool."
