Halifax Town manager Chris Wilder was left fuming at the final whistle after a penalty was awarded in injury time.

"I think it's a joke decision, in my opinion there is no way that referee can give that penalty absolutely 100%. The linesman has a clear view of it, told my players that he didn't give it and he didn't think it was a penalty. The referee is looking through a crowd of players. So how can he be sure 100% that it's a penalty ? It he isn't sure he shouldn't give it. I think we've been mugged. We've come under some pressure, I'm disappointed with one or two aspects of the game about my own team like I always am as I want us to improve.

The players worked very hard, their goalkeeper has made some tremendous saves and kept them in the game. They've gone direct and we nearly saw the game out. A little bit of quality in the middle third up to the frontmen so we could hold onto the ball to relieve the pressure. They are a good side who have been excellent away from home this season and we deserved the win.

I can't afford to be throwing points away, you know how hard we have to work to get the points, but the penalty decision was ridiculous and has cost us. I think he got swayed a decision a couple of minutes before as there were appeals for a handball which he didn't give. So he hasn't given that one, players around him and then he gives them this one and he's not sure and I can't work around it.

Danny has done extremely well coming back into the side and easily could have got a hattrick, he's had two headers and gone through in the second half. Shaw, Cammy have gone through, Tez has had a great effort. If we'd have got the second and they had gun ho then their goal would have just been a consolation goal. The second would have been a killer goal.
