Halifax Town manager Chris Wilder was pleased with his side's performance as they drew 1-1 with Forest Green.

He said after the game, "It was an all action performance from us today. We forced the issue from the first minute, I can't praise the players highly enough.

I was a little disappointed in the second half when we got into good positions but we lacked the composure. I thought that was the difference today. We created four or five really good chances in the first half and we've not managed to convert them. We kept plugging at it and showed a lot character as we tried to force the game and they've scored against the run of play I would say.

Simon Ainge, who I thought was outstanding this afternoon, goes into a challenge with their fullback and it breaks for them. They rolled it across the box and it's tapped in and we're looking for the offside decision.

My initial thoughts for their goal were that it was offside. We've had Andy Campbell's goal ruled out for offside but we've had Jon Shaw go clean through after Darryn Stamp had scored and it was a little bit of a lack of composure for us.

I can't question the player's attitude. If they show the same amount of work rate and effort in the games against Kidderminster and Ebbsfleet they will get into these positions and they need to be a touch better.

It's not done and dusted after today, it won't be until the final day of the season. If we see more of that I am sure we will be okay.

I think on the balance of play and the chances we have created I think we will be disappointed we didn't win the game. Craig Mawson has made a great save in the dying seconds. We have created the clear cut chances, they are tight games and they are up there on merit. The players have had a right go at it and maybe we should have done enough to get the points."
