We can confirm that the Football Club has submitted an 'Appeal' to the Football Association, in respect of the decision by the Football Conference to make Halifax Town AFC Ltd ineligible for the Competition in 2008-2009.It is expected the matter will be heard on Wednesday 11th June and we would confirm that the club will be fully represented by a team of experienced professionals.

The Football Club was represented at the AGM of the Football Conference in Blackpool on Saturday, but none of the Clubs who are subject to 'Appeal' hearings were individually referred to.This is also the reason for none of the Clubs currently in the 'Appeal' process being included on any formal agenda, or appearing in any of the league tables.

As soon as a decision regarding the 'Appeal' is known and the Football Club is able to establish a clear position, then a decision regarding the future of the Club/Business will be made within 24 hours, for the benefit of all parties concerned.
