Halifax Town travel to Woking on Saturday to play their 25th Blue Square Premier League game of the season.

With more than half the season gone, both clubs are very much under achieving in the league, and with both of them rooted in the lower half of the table, both sets of fans will be expecting nothing less than 3 points.None more so than the Town supporters, who will be making the journey to the outskirts of London on the back of a 2-0 hoe victory against Farsley Celtic on New Years Day.

Chris Wilder's new signings, Nathan Joynes and Tom Harban, will travel with the squad and could feature, although after such a superb performance against their Leeds rivals on Tuesday, much of the game with 10 men, it would be hard for them to force their way in to the reckoning.

Anthony Griffiths will miss the trip after collecting his 3rd red card of the season. He is likely to be out for more than the normal 3 game period, as the F.A may decide to investigate his discipline. Nicky Gray is ready to fill the central midfield position, although that spot could go to Simon Heslop, who is in fine form or The Shaymen this season.

Should Heslop play, Alex Bailey could come back in to the fold to operate on the right hand side of midfield, and the same frontline partnership of Jon Shaw and Lewis Killeen is likely to be named by Chris Wilder. However, with the transfer window widely open, it's not clear who will be next to leave The Shay, as the manager looks to re-build his side and salvage something from this season.

Adam Legzdins has also extended his loan from Birmingham, so he should start for The Shaymen, which means that Craig Mawson may be pondering his future, as the experienced keeper will be a worthy starter at the vast majority of other BSP clubs.

Woking will be looking to pick up their first points in 4 games.Their Christmas run was a flurry of defeats against Aldershot twice, and Torquay.Although the quality of opposition has been top 2 materials, confidence will be shattered.Woking sits in 18th place, one point behind town, and has played 2 games more.

With a much needed confidence boost of 3 points and a clean sheet following from the game against Farsley, Town will be looking to continue their 100% record in 2008.

Enjoy the game
