Kidderminster Harriers vs Halifax Town
The Shaymen will be looking for some swift revenge on Tuesday night, as they face an away trip to Kidderminster Harriers who knocked them out of the FA Trophy just 10 days ago. Leading 1-0 at half-time through a Neal Trotman header just before the break, Town's defence capsized under intense second-half pressure, eventually losing the quarter-final tie 3-1.
The league, however, may well be a different story, and Chris Wilder's men will take heart from their 2-2 draw at Woking this weekend. The Harriers, currently eleventh in the table, will be equally desperate for victory to keep their dying play-off chances alive, after four straight league defeats. Likewise, Harriers have a poor home record this season, with eight defeats so far at Aggborough, including a 2-1 reverse against high flyers Gravesend and Northfleet at the weekend. All in all, Harriers have the worst home record in the top 15 of the Nationwide Conference. At The Shay earlier this season, Town recorded a competent 2-0 victory, with their first clean sheet of the season, in a game that witnessed both a high and a low point for striker, Andy Campbell. In the 37th minute he calmly slotted home his long-awaited first goal for Town, having suffered some appalling luck in front of goal in his previous few appearances. Just 20 minutes later, however, he limped off with the knee injury which is still sidelining him today. Jake Wright scored our second goal that evening.
Overall Record Against Kidderminster:
Last season saw the Shaymen get the better of Kidderminster with a 1-0 away win courtesy of a Lewis Killeen goal, and a goalless draw at The Shay, though our overall record does not make such impressive reading.

Team News
Town's centre-half curse continued on Saturday, as loanee Ryan Cresswell limped off with an ankle injury after 61 minutes. He is doubtful for Tuesday night's clash, leaving no recognised centre-halves available for selection. Chris Wilder may have to keep faith with the emergency central-defensive pairing of Jake Wright and Ryan Toulson, who acquitted themselves well for the final half hour at Woking, following Cresswell's departure. Further up the field, Tyrone Thompson returns from suspension and Steve Torpey and Shane Smeltz's substitute appearances on Saturday will hopefully have aided their respective bids for full fitness.
Club Connections
Two players have played for both sides, Darryn Stamp is likely to miss the game through injury has been on loan at Aggborough, while Brian Smikle is currently with Kidderminster.
Two Town players have made their debuts against Harriers: Richard Wilmot in the 2-1 away defeat in 1994/5 and, more recently, Nathan Winder in the 2-0 away defeat in 2001/02.
